Dr. Sarah Zerbib-Tisser’s journey in healthcare began in 2009, and over the years, she has had the privilege of developing a broad and compassionate approach to mental wellness. After completing her Bachelor's in Medical Sciences from Hadassah College in Jerusalem, Israel, she obtained her Master’s degree from DePaul University in Chicago, followed by a Post-Master’s degree in Psychiatric Mental Health and a Doctorate of Nursing Practice from the University of Cincinnati, Ohio.
Dr. Zerbib-Tisser has worked in various mental health settings, including substance use disorder treatment, inpatient psychiatric care, and long-term psychiatric care. Her diverse clinical experience, combined with her personal journey through postpartum depression, ignited her passion to support individuals facing similar struggles. She is particularly dedicated to helping perinatal women who are dealing with anxiety, depression, OCD, hormonal-related issues, and postpartum conditions. Her goal is to help women reclaim their lives, reconnect with their bodies, and strengthen their bonds with their newborns and families.
As an Integrative Psychiatric Provider trained by the Dream Practice Academy, Dr. Zerbib-Tisser works closely with her patients to develop holistic treatment plans that go beyond medication. Her approach includes combining therapy, nutrition, nutraceuticals, exercise, and coaching to help her clients feel calmer, more fulfilled, and better able to navigate life’s challenges. She is a PSI Trained Provider (Postpartum Support International), with specialized training in supporting those with perinatal mood and anxiety disorders (PMADs), ensuring her care is tailored to the unique needs of women and families during this critical period.
In addition to supporting women, Dr. Zerbib-Tisser is passionate about helping children and teenagers with mood dysregulation, ADHD, and self-esteem challenges. She works with young individuals to help them build confidence, improve school performance, and cultivate positive friendships.
Fluent in both French and Hebrew, Dr. Zerbib-Tisser enjoys connecting with people from different cultural backgrounds and providing care in a multi-lingual, compassionate, and stigma-free environment. When not practicing psychiatry, she enjoys spending time with her two children, playing electric guitar, and learning new languages.
Dr. Zerbib-Tisser’s ultimate goal is to empower individuals and families to find balance, resilience, and lasting mental well-being through personalized, integrative care.
